First of all I would find another source for the root file. Second of all you do not unzip the the folder period. The file needs to be flashed to your phone via Odin.

Wowwa, hold on... no root method needs to be flashed with Odin... ever.

Ok I have decided to root. I downloaded drivers and root folder v2 and when I got to the part to save the folder to my desktop it says it cannot unzip because it contains a Trojan virus. What the heck do I do now???

It sounds like your AV software is a little overzealous, I've used that same root method numerous times, and there's no virus in it. Just disable (or ignore) your AV program temporarily and unzip the files. The directions in the "How to root" thread should be good from there.

I shut off the anti virus protection and it still comes up error!! GRRRRRR

after you redownload, if it still happens, try creating a new account in windows, make sure it has admin. this causes windows to load most settings again, like user settings and privacy and security settings and some driver settings.

dont worry about the av saying its a trojan. all the av sees is a set of conditions, most of the time these conditions are a virus, but not always as in the z4 root.

Do you have it set up to stay awake?
I guess that doesnt matter since it wront see it at alll.

You set up the drivers and know there is no conflict with connection right
