What do LG Account and LG ThinQ Service apps do?

I was wondering if anyone here knows what function these two apps serve on the phone.

I use a LG G8 ThinQ. The apps are not there in the app drawer but I saw them in the update center and was wondering what are they for.

Tuya emergency fall alert is the only smart home app or device worth having.

Controlling lighting or other appliances is a personal privacy issue. The information will be sold to marketers and the government, so long as the device has internet access. NASA will not allow such devices because of the security concerns. I doubt if NASA is paranoid. .
