What do the Red Dots signify...

... to the left of the names/numbers in the Visual Voicemail list? Some have them, some don't...

Any time you see the dots, one of which will be red, that indicates there are other screens connected to the one you are looking at. If the red dot is in the middle screen, swipe in either direction. One side will have recent calls, times, dates, etc (you can clear this list using menu > clear list. Other side will vary, might be social connections. Might be something else, depending on the app. Took me a LOOOONNNggg time to figure this out and it's so obvious, once you know that is.

Thanks, but I'm not talking about the Home Screen navigation buttons.

I'm talking about the one red dot to the left of some of the names/numbers in the message list in the Visual Voicemail app.

I would hope that everyone using an Android phone would be using the free, and superior, Google Voice.

I thought maybe that was the case, but the dot remained after the messages were archived, so was not sure.
