What do u hate most about the G2

the speaker for media is way too low and bluetooth lags for video streaming. also some media apps like my local cable app optimum and ABC go are not supported on this phone which is a shame since we have such a beautiful screen. Also on att the battery drain from android system is a pain. lastly any edits you do to photos in the gallery automatically compress down to 400kb or so which makes them useless.

Hate that the back of the phone gets really hot close to the power button. This has typically been under light web browsing on 4g.

Back of the phone is still really slippery. Gorilla glass 2 is also terrible as I have gotten some fine scratches on the front that has forced the use of a screen protector.

Also as other people have mentioned, the speaker is terrible for media playback.

Which screen protector did you get? Some users reported protector not staying put due to curvature towards edges.

You need the spigen protectors. They don't go all the way to the edge

you know it may not be the glass that is scratched and just the oleophobic coating

What I hate most is that I didn't buy this damn thing 2 months ago.

What I hate most is that I didn't buy it 2 months later. paid 199 at launch now it's practically free. I smell no future updates

I put $100.00 down...I switched to T-Mob since they have the best coverage in my area. (I know what I just typed, yes) I'm happy with 4.2.2 to be honest. If I get bored, I'll just root it and install whatever.

Absolutely nothing! I could care less about updates or any other minor gripe here or there that could be easily prevented by doing a little research or just plain not buying it. I bought it for what it is and have ZERO regrets.

How the double tap to zoom is a hit or miss in the browser. And also how there isn't a big digital clock widget in the widgets drawer like the one found on the lock screen. Just the smaller 3x2 one.

Just curious, nobody mentioned the visible touchscreen sensor's dots. Does that not bother anyone? It didn't really bother me much, but I figured there must be some picky people out there, and those dots can get really visible in certain angles.

Here they are, even on youtube review and on review pictures.

Every phone from my OG Evo on up has had those. All of them probably did, but I didn't notice them until my Evo.

I purchased the Obliq pure crystal from amazon. It does not run all the way to the edge of the phone. Unfortunately both sides of the phone now have become finger print magnets. Should have opted for the oleophobic version.

You may be right about the olephobic coating getting scratched, but it was bothersome enough to get a protector.

You mean every IPS phone. I never saw this with TFT or Amoled displays, what makes it stand out on this device compared to others? I believe Nexus 4 or 5 has the same thing, right?
