What do you all think?

I too had a TF700 and returned it to get the Nexus 10. In the short time that I've been using the N10, I'm very glad I did. It is much quicker than the TF700. No lag at all.

Agreed, I tried to convince myself the lag was me or it didn't bother me. After playing with this for the last few hours, I realize how laggy the TF700 was. I read about it being the NAND or whatever but it really made the experience frustrating.

Having some odd issues tonight. The WiFi signal has been jumping around quite a bit and even managed to lose the connection at one point. I also encountered a weird thing when I opened an app called WiFi analyser. The nexus 10 threw a strop and immediately rebooted itself! I wonder if there are a few bugs in 4.2. Anyone else noticing their WiFi icon wavering up and down? I even reset the device this evening to sees if it would improve things.

Thus far, zero random reboots... Now that I typed that. :-) All of my frequent apps work, screen filter doesn't work but I'm sure subsequent updates will remedy that.

Anyone know if you can connect an external hard drive via micro USB and watch movies from it

is the nexus10 worth the extra $100 vs buying a new galaxy tab 2 10.1?
i am trying to decide between the 2 10's.
thanks

Yes, not only does it have a lot nicer screen, it's also got the latest greatest SoC, and don't forget it's a "Nexus" so it get's new OS releases very quickly. $100 is a no brainer!

Yes, WiFi is a bit wonky on my N10 too.
Fear not about the reboot. :) Exact same thing happened to me in WiFi Analyzer a few minutes ago. Also the channel overview "flickers" every 30 seconds or so - looks like an incompatibility to me.
No stability problems/reboots except for that one.

Ah thanks for the reply there. Glad it seems to be down to that app. It flickered on my screen too. WiFi seems much Better tonight although YouTube app is constantly buffering despite very fast connection speed.
