What do you like least about your Sensation?

When I got my Sensation tonight I got a screen protector and silicone case from the T-Mobile store. The screen protector isn't that great though but still better than nothing. It was free since I bought a silicone case.

I'm going to pick one up before work tomorrow. Thankfully its super minor.

Gorilla glass... not that tough?

Bahaha after some careful tapping I was able to dislodge the dust. Noticed a tiny nick in the screen too. Screen protectors need to come soon!

What? A nick already? I think I would be devastated if something like that happened this soon. How long have you had your phone? Is it possible that the nick was already there when you took delivery?

I'm loving this bad boy. Just picked it up last night.

Cons:
Speakerphone - Damn near useless
Antenna - It being built into the back was a bad idea (No drops here though)
Buttons - I keep pressing home instead of back :P More of a user error though lol
Front facing camera - Wish it was better quality but eh, don't mind too much :)
Doesn't make me a sandwhich :/

This phone is awesome :)

Its barely noticeable. The only reason I saw it was under very bright light. Its really no biggie, especially since its so hard to see.

Volume

So far the only thing i don't like is that it has very low speaker volume when using as speaker phone listening to streaming radio or watching movies.

Yup I agree!!!! The absolute worst thing on the phone is the speakerphone and then the antenna. Sense 3.0 is NOT lag free and that disappoints me but overall I love it!!! No phone will be flawless. The iPhone uses a single core processor and still feels ways smoother. Wish we could actually feel that dual core processor.

The thing I like least is that its on TMobile and not Sprint haha. Out here in my area at least, Sprint's 4G is faster and covers a wider area. Also works indoors much better. Ah well.

I'd never go to Sprint. If they don't like you, they drop you, regardless if your in contract or not. They also charge a "Premium" for smartphone users. Oh and they use CDMA technology which isn't advanced as GSM. I have always loved the fact that I can switch phones like that with my SIM. The fastest I ever saw on T-Mobile's 4G network was 8.5mbps down and that was with the myTouch 4G. I guarantee Sprint doesn't get you anything over 5mbps. HSPA+ is much ligher on the battery than Wimax. T-Mobile also has Wi-Fi calling which Sprint does not. Even though I don't have 3G coverage where I live, I'd still choose T-Mobile because compared to AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint, I'm saving so much a month. What other carrier can give me 500 minutes with free Wi-Fi calling, unlimited text, and 5GB of high speed data which slows down after 5GB for $69.99/mo? T-Mobile wins for me. :D I'm extremely loyal to them for the years of excellent service I've received. I've also noticed a lot of hate because they got this phone, yet, every other carrier already got their hands on a 4.3" Android phone. T-Mobile was long over due.

:D :D :D Just my 2 cents.

Depends on your area I suppose. Sprint and Verizon get way better reception and download speeds here than AT&T and TMobile. On Speakeasy, the fastest down I have got with the Sensation is 1.6Mbps. I would average 3-4Mbps with my Nexus S 4G on Sprint and even got as high as 8.7Mbps on several occasions where 4G coverage is really good. Even my 3G speeds were as good or better than the Sensation's 4G speeds. However, the radio in the Nexus sucks and coverage was too hit and miss.

One thing is we have no way to tell whether we're on 4G or 3G on the Sensation. So I'm not really going by speed tests :/

Thats the other thing I dont care for. All my Sprint 4G phones differentiated between 4G and 3G but oh well. As long as I dont start roaming I am good haha

Seems that as an ex N-1 user I'm in good company here. I really liked my N-1 (love is saved for humans and puppys).

1 I am finding that the Sensation is less intuitive, to me; it just might take time to get used to the new interface.
2 I called my home answering machine and the sound quality was terrible. That garrbled under water thing. As this is also my business phone, (yep I said phone) I need good voice quality.

Outdoor screen visibility leaves a lot to be desired compared to Super Amoled Plus.

What I like least:

-Some lag. I get a big HTC logo and then a load screen when switching back to the home screen sometimes. I think it happens after installing an app from the Market, but I'm not sure.

-The speakerphone is virtually unusable unless you are using it a library.

-Signal strength is a bit less than the Nexus One in my usual areas. WiFi is generally stronger than the N1.

- The recessed camera is good at avoiding scratches, but there is considerable dust and particles in there now and I get reach into get them out. It's bad enough to warrant concern about picture quality. I am going to have to buy some Q-Tips...

-Notifications LED is playing hide-n-seek.

-Ear piece is a bit low as well.

Thats not lag. Sometimes when you download or uninstall an app that should require a phone restart, it boots into some kind of fast mode where it restarts itself. I dont mind it as it does it very fast. As long as it never does that during a call, I am good.

Called "Fast Boot". Can be disabled under the Power section in the settings. Also, for the camera, just remove the back and boom, easy to clean lol

Heh...You're right about the camera lenses. Sometimes the solution is so obvious it can't be seen! lol

Yes it is lag. Just now, I was just in the Browser, viewing USA Today. When I hit the Home capacitive button, instead of seeing the home screen I saw the letters "HTC in green on a white background, then a loading box. It tool 8-12 seconds for the home screen to load.

I hadn't installed anything from the Market so it has nothing to do with Fast Mode or rebooting. Besides, very few apps require a reboot in Android, so even when I was experiencing it apps, it wasn't logical.

Has anyone else experienced this delay/lag of getting back to the Home Screen?
