What do you think the battery life will be like?

I haven't had a Samsung watch before. Just curious what others think the life will be. The battery size is 380 mAh, which is almost 100 mAh more than the S2.

It's gonna have glorious battery life. 😆 On my Gear S2 3G, I would finish the day with 45% left (off the charger at 6:40am and placed on the cradle around 11pm). That's with screen always on, GPS & NFC on, and getting notifications all day long.

I think it will too. Are you planning on getting one?

Wow,really long enough.NFC?My watch doesn't support it,but do you think this feature is useful and indispensable?

I think MST functionality will be more useful for Samsung Pay than NFC. If it works as described, the vast majority of POS terminals will accept it. Since paying by holding your wrist up is way more convenient than pulling out a wallet (or phone), it has the potential to become a compelling reason for wearing a smartwatch. I think a large number of people would be willing to pay $300 for a watch that will allow them to leave their wallet behind.

Battery life seems to vary greatly by user. Bluetooth and 3G can cause significant drain. I hope the battery on the S3 is large enough to last all day with the LTE radio on, so that I can dump my smartphone.

Yup, that's one of the major reasons why I'm upgrading to the Gear S3 from my Gear S2 3G - full Samsung Pay experience. Using NFC Samsung Pay was next on my Gear S2 but its usage cases were very limited b/c of no MST.
