I don't want to buy a Kindle. I'm thinking of one of the Android WiFi tablets to install the Kindle reader on. What are you using?

thx,

You said no Kindle, but they are great.

Kindle Paperwhite. Far superior to any backlit display for reading.

That's what I use. I tried the basic cheap touch, but no back light. No need to get a more expensive one if you don't need it, use the money for books.

Put Samsung Kindle on your phone (if you feel on using it), you get one free book, out of four choices, each month. These can be read on any device.

If you want the fire tablet, they have a blue light for reading. Not sure how well it works.

I turn my phone off until landing anyway, so use my iPad Pro. 5.7" display is too small for me to read beyond 15 minutes straight.
