For years I was using the alcohol lens wipes to clean my iPhone 4 and had no ill effects even though Apple discourages it. Since I bought my S4, I have been doing the same thing. Am I asking for trouble if I keep using the alcohol wipes? What do you use to clean the screen?

I don't see why alcohol should be a big deal/ It's a good glass cleaner, and alcohol is used to clean and prep electronic circuits for assembly. However, If you want to play it safe, there are screen cleaning wipes for sale at any major retailer. Although, I think those contain alcohol.

I wouldn't use alcohol on Gs4 due to it's polycarbonate plastic body due to the fact that alcohol is an organic solvent, and it can dissolve/deform plastic and most paint finishes.

This. Just get phone screen cleaner, I always can find it in stores. I personally just use a micro fiber cloth because my phone usually doesn't get that dirty

Agree with others above to use a non-alcohol cleaner, just in case. So far I've just used any clean cloth available (like my T-shirt), although a clean microfiber is probably preferable. Unless the screen is really smudged with fingerprints, makeup, or other oily marks a clean cloth is probably all you'll need.

I use Costco Eyeglasses Care Kit. The solution is plastic safe without using alcohol. The included micofiber cloth and unlimited free refill can't be beat for the $5 asking price.

Damn free refill that's great too bad the nearest costco is about an hour away and for 5 bucks I'll just get another cleaner at walmart.

No liquids on my phone, thanks.

A micro-fiber cloth is all you really need, in my opinion.

I think alcohol reacts weirdly with the coating that is put onto the glass to keep it scratch resistant now as well. I honestly just use a t-shirt to clean my screen most of the time.

Go to the Walmart electronic department where computers are they have screen wipes that are good on all electronic devices. They are not too expensive for a big tub. Where I'm at it is about $8.00

A micro-fiber cloth is the best for cleaning a Samsung galaxy s4 iPhones iPads etc.... you can get cleaning phone wipes in the pharmacy but I clean my Samsung with my sunglasses micro-fiber cloth : -)

A little underarm sweat and a dirty sock to wipe it clean. Keeps my phone smelling like the phone companies.

Lots of comedians...which is always good. I have a microfiber cloth reserved for cleaning my screens. I keep one at the office, one in the car, and one at home.

Don't ever use alcohol! Home Depot sells a good cheap bottle of screen cleaner, brand name is CETECH...always use a microfiber cloth.
