what does ram status mean?

I am new to android my note 4 says ram status 2.04gb/2.71gb what does this mean? am I 'tying' up or using most of my ram? is this bad? thanks

It means that 2GB ram is currently being used out of your net from 3GB. You're using approx 75% of available RAM. That's good. Definitely not bad. Ignore that stat unless something is very wrong.
