what does sleep mode enabled mean?

never seen this before in the almost year ive had my thunderbolt. last nite i flashed eternity by virus. tonite i got a notification that sleep mode was enabled

Not sure exactly what it does, but it's an option under power options. If you have it set to never, you won't see it anymore.
