What does this icon mean?

Yesterday I updated my Samsung s7 to android 7.0 and ive notice a new symbol in my status bar. The symbol is a phone with a small signal next to it, does anyone know what it means and how to get rid of it?

That's WiFi calling. It means that calls you place/receive will be carried out on WiFi according to your preferences (prioritize WiFi or prioritize network when available).
