The skin is Weather HD in beautiful widgets and is the smaller beautiful home weather. All in beautiful widgets app. Used launcher pro and the wallpaper is from zedge app. Pretty easy set up

It's in the Simi clock settings, background color, then change the alpha setting

do i need to root to change icons?
i have adw launcher ex and tried the ice cream sandwich theme. wallpaper changes but icons such as phone and app drawer/home icon remains the same.

i dont believe you need to root. just press and hold the icon, hit edit, then tap the icon image and select one from adw gallery icon pack

Thanks! I'm a new android user and a little overwhelmed with the many customizations (came from iphone 3G). Now I'm deciding if I use ADW EX or GO EX. Seems like GO is much easier to use.

ADW is what i use. its easy to set up. SO MANY different things you can customize. just take a few minutes to go through all the settings and play around to find what you like.

I see the GO EX and ADW in the market, but is it necessary to root to use them?

Also, once you put them in, how easy is it to go back to stock if you don't like them?

no it isnt necessary to root to use adwlaucher. its as simple as a click of a button to go back to stock theme. visit adwlaunchers website and they spell it all out there. very easy
