What DON'T you like about the new update?

I have voice my opinion about the email background color, but what else does everyone NOT like about the update???

I have found a bunch of little things that bug me.

What do you guys NOT like?

Double-spacing will NOT insert a period (even with that option turned on) unless I have auto-correct words and another similar option turned on. That drives me crazy.

My wife isn't sure the colors used for texting conversations are the best.

I find the overall response time a bit degraded. :-(

After all the wait and anticipation I am underwhelmed.

I agree that the OS does seem to lag. For the first time since I got this phone 3 months ago, it locked up. Holding the power button took a very long time to work. That would have been a good scenario for a battery pull.....if you could do that with this device!

Battery life.

As for lagginess, it will probably take a few days for the phone to adapt to its new OS.

My battery life has never been good but the update ruined it. I had to get it replaced because it would actually discharge while on the charger. Even with the replacement it wont stay charged over night off the charger! Any one with ideas?

Download "handcent" from the market and replace the stock texting software with it. It's freeware, and the customization is absolutely remarkable. The attached image is a sample of what I turned my conversation windows to look like. There's even an option to hide phone numbers (hence the lack of visible number beneath the contacts name.)

As for what I dislike about ICS, all the hardwired social networking apps (google+, facebook, etc.) And since I was rooted when my device decided it was time to update, I'm having those same re-rooting issues as many other people.

I can no longer access the contacts list from the phone app. I have to exit the phone app and go into the contacts app. It was better the old way.

I do not like having incoming text on the left and outgoing text on the right. It's not how printed documents work. It was better the old way.

I've tried to redial "Ken" from the recent list in the phone app and it instead dialed "Ken Smith". It was better the old way.

The clock displayed was an old-school round clock. Now I have hard to see white dots and lines. It was better the old way.

today i noticed that they seem to have removed flash player and i can't find it available to reinstall. so some websites donqt work anymore and i can't watch webinars anymore. i thought they'd keep it on devices already supported...

My videos play "sideways" no matter how i rotate the screen, no matter how i adjust settings. The family videos i record are the most pleasurable part of my phone use and now its ruined ...PLZ HELP!

Just got this phone last week and loved it after using a Blackberry for 7 years. I DO NOT like anything at all about the update - it's not an upgrade at all, but rather a downgrade! What are these people thinking?! Obviously, the people doing a supposed upgrade don't use the product!!!

Let me list just a few MAJOR things that are wrong:
No longer can sync my Google Calendar
Contacts can no longer be sorted to show contacts with phone numbers only
Hate the email background color
Bluetooth no longer works
Battery drains after only one hour

Is it possible to reverse the upgrade? I will never, ever upgrade the phone again. This is unacceptable.

I really hate sometimes when people respond to a problem that should be addressed at the OEM level with "Try this other software" - How about it just work as it is supposed to? And everyone wonders why the iOS fanboys have so much ammo against us...

If my radio stops working in my car, should I go out and by a boombox to put in the seat next to me?

Battery life cut by 2/3 the time.:-\
Can't zoom in while video recording :-\
Does not add a period when double spaceing :-\
Increased in lag time :-\
Took away the flash player
Just to name a few

I still like the Gingerbread design over ICS. I might even downgrade back to my 3
