What drains your Note 3 battery more on standby- wifi or your data?

I've seen some say wifi drains your battery more when your phone is asleep but obviously data drains Alot more when you use your phone
 
with out any hard data to prove it, just my observation. Being on WiFi consumes less power.
 
Wifi is less power to run as long as it's not a weak signal.

Wifi drains your battery more when it is "SEARCHING" for a good signal when there is NONE to be found. If you have a bad wifi signal or no wifi signal it is better for you battery to just turn off the wifi.

This has been my experience thus far with the Note 3
