What happened to lock screen controls for Amazon Music App on Android?

Android had an update... i reluctantly updated to PIE. Now, on my Samsung Galaxy S9, I dont have the ability to play, pause or change tracks on the Lock Screen (I could do that before the update). It would also show the play/pause/skip controls on my home screen... that too is now gone.

Swipe left or right on the clock on the lock screen.

Go to settings > apps > Amazon Music > notifications and make sure playback controls is enabled
