What happened to my s7 edge screen?

I took this S7 edge apart to replace the charging port. When I was taking the front screen off, it started separating from the gold part underneath. I just powered the phone up to test it and the screen LCD looks broken. It is flickering and has a wash of blacked out areas. Is this fixable or do I need to order the entire screen?
