What happened to my setup?

I put my Note 4 in my pocket tonight like I always do and when I pulled it out, it looked just like it did when I first bought it with bloatware, etc. My folders and widgets were gone. Now I have to spend hours recreating the perfect experience I had prior to this mishap. Any idea what happened? It was also in magnify mode, which I couldn't figure out how to change. Frustrating. How do I avoid this in the future???

Was it only the homescreens that seemed to reset? Were all of your apps still installed? Did you lose any other data?

It sounds like the TouchWiz launcher crashed and then reset to default--unless you're using a 3rd party launcher like Nova or Apex. My guess is that some app caused a conflict, but it can be tough to figure out which one.
