What happens if I flash a software for Vodafone and the phone has the soft for Orange ?

Hello guys. If I have a Samsung Galaxy S6 ( SM-G920F ) on a network that didn't get the Android 7 Nougat update and the phone was locked on this network ( Orange Romania ), can I flash the software from sammobile.com for Nougat but for a different network ? ( Vodafone Romania ) I have to mention that the phone was unlocked on IMEI some time ago and i'm currently using Vodafone RO. Will something happen to the phone if I do this ?
