What have you purchased with your 50.00 Google credit?

I'm in mostly tweak mode at the moment: Bought Tasker, Widget Locker and HD Widgets so far. I'm messing with the launchers too - just haven't pulled the trigger yet (Nova likely). I have some NFC tabs showing up tomorrow so might need a few other things to fool with them. Also looking at development tools for some of the more complex things I'm considering.

What gaming genre is your preference?

Racing, tower defense, launching (like rockets and stuff in the air), physics, shooting, but I am also opened to try other types of games, and would like to know what other people have in mind. So I can try out.

I don't know how much this app is going for at the moment, but I purchased mine last December for a quarter. I am waiting for more sales again this holiday to spend my credits. These credits couldn't have come at a better time. :)

This is an excellent idea. I love the holiday specials. 1 dollar apps from Google play store. 25 cents deals from popular companies.

I bought Gemini Syndrome's new album...

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn and

and book that I cant remember the title of at the moment. And I still have like $20 left.

The Asphalt series (I have 7) has been one of my favorites. If you like RPGs, Earth and Legend is pretty decent.

I got asphalt 7 and it is awesome. Works with moga controller too. Cant believe it was only a buck for this awesome game.

While not privileged to have the 50 dollar gift. I would make a case for nova launcher. I just spent the good part of tonight configuring this launcher and I am much happier

I'm new to Android so I'm still not quite sure what the pro's and cons are to a launcher and what exactly it is lol.

As for the google credit I was late so I didn't get one.

I'm unsure what nova launcher is as well. Other than that it takes place of touch wiz. Anything else special about it?

there is a free version of nova. Nova is what I'm using and you should try it. gives you more standard Android experience plus the best feature I found is customizing screen gestures. Check you tube for nova+note 3 for more info

So far I only purchased Tasker. Creating a deleting profiles to learn it's many full features. Nice little program and worth the few bux. I already had Nova Prime for my tablet, just haven't put it on my note 3 yet.

As jacobjs01 said, gestures is a pretty nice enhancement in Nova. Nova offers levels of customization that Touchwiz does not. There are several other extremely popular launchers available (action launcher, apex, go launcher ex, etc.) that do similar things.

Touchwiz is Samsungs launcher overtop of Android, and offers a pretty tremendous amount of icing. Many love it, but many want more, or different. The other launchers help satisfy that. If you want to give them a try, I'd say start with reading some reviews/comparisions and seeing if there are any that appeal to you more than others. Then hit youtube, for some visual reviews, how-tos, tips, tricks, etc.

You can install multiple launchers, and switch at will, but it's far easier to find the one you like and stick with it. Most have free versions to test drive.

Good luck, and have fun!

I think I've used maybe $8 of mine... Added levels on Amazing Breaker and MX Player Pro. I've been on Android for so long that I have almost all the top paid apps and I don't really do a lot of games on my phone. I get my music and movies from other sources... So still searching for something to spend more on.

I haven't use any yet but a friend of mine just got the note 3 and I want to try and see if I can buy her a few paid apps that she may like as a gift if that possible.
