So my lenovo y550p bought last year for 850USD was not subsidized by the inordinate amount of crapware on it? I mean a laptop with intel's brand new flagship i7, 4th gigs ddr3 ram, an nvidia you with a gig of vram, those things are easily integrated into a laptop for that cost.
No. They're not. In fact you can't find a deal within a hundred bucks of that today. Software subsidies are not exclusive or even an original concept on Android. Android just happens to be the sole platform where it's permanent.
The idea of android was to be user based and open source. Android advertising is a billion dollar business and quite frankly it's bull****.
