Their AI is at all times either useless or psychotic.

I've been distancing myself from Google hardware and software over the past 2 years and it's like living in a different world. Things work and you don't have to worry about it becoming a paper weight (hardware) or being abandoned or shut down (software).

Google is in self destructed mode and has been for a while. So "what if" really doesn't matter.
