What if I delete Pokémon Go?

Hi everyone,

A little question about removing Pokémon Go.
My phone (Huawei Ascend G620S) isn't capable of playing Pokémon Go.
Maybe it is my 4G-data connection, but I am not sure of that...

Now I want to remove the Pokémon Go app.
Just to check some things.
But now comes the question:

What happens if I delete the Pokémon Go app?
Is my trainer account/progress also deleted/removed if I delete Pokémon Go?
Because I don't want to get my player profile deleted.

Can someone help me with this issue?

Pretty sure you won't loose anything as it all stored on the servers. Just make sure you log in with the same account & you'll be fine.

Okay, but are you sure nothing will happen with my account?

Nothing will happen, all trainer info is saved to the server so you can log in on any other device.

This is true. I have already had to switch phones, and once I logged in, everything was just where I left it! =)

AFAIK, all profile information is stored with your google play account, so if you log back in, it will all still be there.
