I was messing around like making a new order, it took my accessory away only 25w charger can be chosen and then the device trade in price dropped from what they were giving me so im sticking with the original pre-order.

Think I’ve damaged one phone in my life so my answer is none. Waste of money.

Free Samsung Care+ for the year, works out well when I change for new foldable next year

Otherwise personally I don’t use or pay for phone insurance

I agree. The free one year is a nice perk, and I will also likely trade up next year too. My Fold 2 and Note 20U are self-insured.

I've only damaged one phone in my life and it was the Note 10. I left it under the hood of my car and closed the hood down on it.....yep, goodbye screen. It came in handy then for sure. The Fold has me worried due to others having issues with previous ones cracking along the bend after a while. Due to replacement costs, I think the monthly is little to ask for to keep it covered no doubt.

Well if you do yearly upgrades it's not so bad if they are giving you the first year free.

Sometimes Samsung doesn't allow you to add their Premium care after you bought the phone. They seem to make it a phone by phone decision. Anyway, I dunno - that is like over $150 in savings. I'd probably cancel it again and reorder if I wanted it.

They did allow it with the Note 20 after I had the device but it wasn't easy to find. It might have been through the Samsung Members app but i forget. I doubt they would still give first year free though.

True, yeah I think that's only going to be a pre-order thing. I think for my Note 10 plus, the Premium care was only available if you ordered it with it. Or was that the 9. But that is true - I do recall the 20U you could but like you said it was through the members app I think.

so I forgot to add it(care +) when i preordered and I called in and was told i could add it after i got the phone. well ive been trying for an hour and it says im not eligible and the tech support told me i need to reorder the phone to add it. but geez I ordered through rakuten and have a trade in and i really dont want to mess around with this. Anyone else having this issue?

Just talked with Premier tech support and should be able to add it tomorrow when the phone is technically available!
