I'm starting to hate touchwiz and I want more of a Google experience and not a Samsung experience? Is Nova launcher more of a Google or samsung? If you have any recommendations then please comment!

Galaxy S4

Galaxy S4

Nova Prime or Pro I forget which is good. Also Apex. They are more Google like than TouchWiz.

I used ADW EX for a long while, but now using TSF launcher with a modded theme... looks fantastic! But does not look like stock 4.3! :p

I'm using Nova Prime. Great launcher for $4 (there is a free version with less features) so customisable I love it!!!

Should I root my phone to put cynnagamod on here?

Galaxy S4

Unless you have the dev edition or have original MDK build which can use the LOKI exploit, you will not be able to use Cyanogenmod or any other asop based ROMs. Assuming you're on vzw or ATT. Don't know about Intl version.

You can install Google vanilla launcher. you need to search google for that, I could only offer you links to german websites.

I love nova prime. I also have the Google experience launcher on my G2 and cyanogenmod epic touch. While I like it I want more than four icons on the drawer. I love being able to change the desktop grid and drawer, if those features were in the Google experience launcher I would be using it.

Apex or Nova. Both are similar, I personally prefer Apex for a couple small options Nova does not have, but you can't go wrong with either.

According to me, the default launcher will always be cool as Galaxy S4 is the smartest phone ever. And by installing and operating a third party launcher, it might cause some problem or slow down your working speed !!!

I like Nova. I have been using it since I was using a ReZound. I suggest using an app such as HomeSmack, which allows you to easily change to a different launcher. Download the free Nova launcher, which you can easily upgrade later. Try others as well. I have fun trying different launchers.

What is a launcher?

A launcher is kinda like a "Theme" or cover that you download and it lays over the stock UI that is on your device. It just allows different customization and things to make your device more personal. :)
