what is an android tablet pc ?

Because I am new member of forum. androidcentral, I don,t understand what is an android tablet pc, and what is it's function? Is there anyone can tell me ? Thank you!

Its a tablet like a iPad. Most are 7 or 10 inches and run Android as a operating system.
