What is causing my lock screen settings to disable themselves?

Recently in the last week, I've been getting constant app notifications from Webroot and Android Pay to set up a lock screen. I've had one on this phone since day one. Just a few days ago, the phone started to disabled the lock screen settings, acting like it had never been set before. I can set it to every possible mode and the apps keep asking for one and when I go to set it, the phone again acts like it's never had one. I don't understand what could be causing the phone to just wipe the lock settings and I've already gone through a factory restore to see if it was something on my phone. But it continues to happen. Anybody got any recommendations?

Hi, welcome to the forums! There are several reports about this same problem and the cause seems to be the Webroot app. Check this thread and the links included. You could try disabling this app temporarily and see if the problem persists. Also, I'd recommend you getting on touch with the developers and explain them what's happening.
