Hi there,

after 2 weeks of usage I am already over my monthly data budget.

Internal data displays 379MB for Android Os - all others reasonable to what I used them for.

I just installed my data manager and within 10 minutes without touching it it displayed:

Android System 2MB
OS Services 284KB

As I am new to Android, I'd appreciate if you could point me in the right direction for finding whats causing it.

There is an app that let's u use either Facebook mobile or web. Just look for Facebook web in the app store and then disable the fb app on the phone. I also use friendcaster

hi guys - ah... ok, I was under the impression, that it can't be facebook as i turned it off and there was no data accounted to it directly.

I'll try deleting - lets see if that changes the situation.

yeah using cpu maybe but not necessarily data, if you scroll down and check the permissions youll see mate

facebook & qtorrent (never had any torrent in by now) deinstalled 2h ago - still

standard data app: android os 5.9mb
my data: android sys + OS services = 5MB

i'll go nuts! especially as this useless activity will also eat away the battery on top of causing extra charges...

in accounts and sync in settings, if you remove FB account, it wont use any background data but u wont get notifications or anythin

I don't like using bookmarks. And I use friendcaster more because u can be signed in to multiple accounts......I have 4. I have a funny page on there. Gotta have backups in case I get reported.

yea but if you look at some of the processes you know that it's using some sort of data. Facebook, KaoTalk (messaging/calling ap), maps, etc.

I know. I use Wi-Fi wherever I can, and I have a 5G plan and I have NEVER gone anywhere near that. I think the most I've used is 2.5 . Maybe 3 tops.

facebook uninstall did not stop it and i never had currents.

I will try to do it tomorrow. There r plenty of pages like that, I just didn't want mine that way. I like them too. But getting reported n Banned is a big pain n the ass.
