Long story short, I've been living in France for some time now, and I have finally tried using my s4 mini instead of my old, but trusty, dumbphone. I plopped in the french sim, (it was nice that it can "convert" from sim to microsim) and I am getting the "Phone activation: this sim card is from an unknown source" error.
What's strange is that I can make calls from it, and I assume I can receive them as well. But they don't register under recent calls, or anything. What can I do? I would like to be able to every now and then switch to my american phone (the s4 mini) in case I got to look a little more well-to-do for something or someone
