Android Central Question

A few times a day, I get a brief message on my phone that says either "Mobility State: UNKOWN, Mobility State: Stationary, or Mobility State: Mobile". It appears and disappears very quickly. It shows up at the bottom of the screen in one of those gray text boxes, the same type of box that appears right after you set an alarm. It happens randomly, doesn't seem to matter if I have an app open or not. Can someone please explain what this means?

How weird. I have cricket and it's doing the same thing. Just started this morning. And ideas? Because I thought someone was trying to track my movements or something.

My phone has also started getting the Mobility State message a few days ago. I have a ZTE BladeX Max & Cricket is my provider. It will be interesting to see what happens with this.

So far, I've been told by ZTE to turn off Cricket WiFi Manager... which I have done and am waiting to see if the toasts persist or disappear. Still waiting to hear from Cricket if they are going to come up with a temporary solution (like ZTE did) or a fix. Will keep y'all posted.

ive also started getting these same toast messages yesterday. i have a zte bladeX max with cricket. i didnt see any updates yesterday but who know. weird

Hello I have a ZTE blade x Max and also cricket unfortunately what I was told by cricket is that ZTE is now a defunct company that's phones are slowly starting to fall apart many have spywear and act suspiciously or in my case slowly stop working all together

What's worse is cricket told me there not aloud to buy our phones back or offer us a refund because there now banned in the usa so there's nothing really to do.

Hey everyone. I registered here because of this thread, since my phone has also begun showing the Mobility State messages just a few hours ago. I thought I'd respond because while my carrier is also Cricket, my phone is a Samsung Galaxy Amp Prime 3. I just now disabled Cricket Wi-Fi Manager, and am waiting to see if I get another Mobility State message. I guess this rules out ZTE, though.

I have a ZTE Blade X Max and it's been doing this recently. I also go thru Cricket. Wonder how to fix it. It doesn't bother anything really but it's more annoying than anything. Mostly because I don't know why it's even doing it.

Hey everyone

I noticed last night for the first time that this started popping up on my screen after my carrier update. I've had cricket for the past year now and I've worked for the company as well but never ran into this issue. My current phone is the Galasxy S9. It's getting annoying to be honest.
