What is "Option Mike" on my android phone?

I suddenly have this app on my 'off brand' android phone called "Option Mike". It seemed to have auto-installed itself. All it seems to do is crash from time to time, freezing my phone momentarily. When the system finally says "Option Mike isn't responding. Wait or Close app." I close app and the phone unfreezes and goes along on it's merry way. The only time I notice the app stalling is when I first turn it on after it being fully shut down and sometimes upon waking the phone from standby mode. It's not a major nuisance but I'd like to know what's going on? I'm thinking malware.

Brand: American Network Solutions
Network: Assurance Wireless via Virgin Mobile (el cheapo phone with a lifeline service)
OS: Android 7.1.1
