AC Question

I am moving over from Apple, the chains have been broken! I got the S7 and would like to know the best/easiest way to move over all of my information?

I wish you all the luck with that, in 9 out of 10 cases, iPhone won't allow you to transfer your date to a Samsung Phone.. Think you and we all know why. You can try to putt your iPhone date from Itunes to your Personal CP and then transfer it to your Samsung.

You won't be able to move over settings like wifi passwords and such but... if you want to move over contacts and calendar info you have some options.

1. I'm assuming you have your contacts and calendar sync to an iPhone account. You're going to need a Gmail account for an Android phone so you can create one now and sync your data to that. Once you enter the Gmail account info on your new phone will automatically show up.

2. If your phone syncs that info to a service like Exchange then again once you enter that account info on your new phone it will come over.

If you specify some other type of data maybe we can help you with that as well.

1. Make itunes backup
2. Download smart switch on computer.
3. Connect your S7 and pick up itunes backup
4. Select what you want to transfer and Voila.

Samsung smart switch lets you transfer contact, sms, pictures, videos, music, call logs, alarms , bookmarks etc.

Very easy to do and you will have everything on S7, it doesn't transfer notes but it will be in your gmail notes folder so you can share them with your google keep and have notes too.
