Best Keyboard App To Use For A Heavy Texter

I got a Moto E today and although the default google keyboard is ok it is virtually impossible to type or swipetype anything on it when it is plugged into the usb charging port. If this is a system fault I'll be getting rid of this handset asap but if it's not can someone recommend a solid keyboard app to download for a heavy text/emailer which does NOT go functionless when the handset is plugged into a charger? Thanks.

(i'm running 5.0.2 out the box and have no idea when to expect 5.1 which I thought was already being pushed out to new Moto devices?!)

I use swiftkey on my Note 4. A lot of folks here swear by it.

I use google keyboard. I don't need any themes or so.

And I do not have any trouble with the USB thing you have, so idk.

SwiftKey is awesome. Before I switched to android I actually had it on the iPhone as well. It learns your typing very quickly
