does APEX have a app selector in the drawer like what Nova has?
Apps: All, My Apps, New, Downloaded, Config.

Does the app selector in Nova need to be selected in the Nova Settings? I don't see any difference between the two. I didn't like Nova's homescreen layout with the 4 across and 5 up. I kinda put my icons wherever the look good. You should see my desktop...

I like that.

Apex has the Apps and Downloaded, but not an "All" or "New" selection. I'll need to take a look at the Nova Prime to see what it has going for it.

Hmmm! Also missing is CWMR Touch and ROM Manager...

Actually, I have about a dozen apps missing between the time I loaded the new ROM, and now. I did not notice if they were missing before I flashed R89 because I used the Franco Updater.

Never mind. I guess it would be Black Exodus...

Those are my kind of colors. I keep my desktops all mostly black themed with a few colorful icons... Sure is cold up there in beautiful Everett. Been there plenty of times..

are you using Nova Launcher?

Nova Prime actually looks pretty nice. I saw a review of it here, and tried to upgrade but it wouldn't do it (apparently because the standard version is cooked into the ROM). How can you go about installing a launcher if it conflicts with one in the ROM?

update it within nova (ithink)

I tried doing it through the market, but it refused because the existing app had the same name and stopped. It only wanted to upgrade instead of letting me download an apk and trying to upgrade through the existing app.

I'll keep at it. These damn ROMs aren't going to break me...

im not running crossbreed so idk. My Theme came with a Blacked out Version of Nova, so i dont want to update it. i have no reason to update it... lol

edit: can you uninstall nova and load the apk?

Flashed a new theme specifically for the latest Crossbreed ROM at DroidHive ISO AXI0M CROSSBREED THEME - droidHIVE Forums last night, but ended in a boot loop twice, so I gave up on it. Too bad because it's the nicest I've seen yet. Apparently they're working up an update to it, so maybe that'll work. At least my backup worked just like it was supposed to.

Not at all. They did a nice job on this one, and they're still working to improve it. I hope to be able to use it too.

It appears to be an app that auto flashes new themes and navigation buttons and the like. Past that, I have no Idea.
