i have always used Tech Armor on all my tablets including when I had the Note 10.1 Edition. I never had an issue with them and they laid on perfectly. I always buy the HD Clear ones, I am not a fan of matte finish.

I don't know what the "best" one is but the Zagg HD protector is highly thought of and is what I have on mine. I like it
