Got this case over the weekend - and WOW what a beast! If you feel the need to wrap your Z3 in a Abrams tank, this is the case for you... Very weighty and completely safe, I feel like I could use my phone as a hockey puck now
Although every aspect of the case is high quality and perfectly fits - I cant get over the weight of this case. adds alot of bulk in width, as expected <- an easy 4mm to each side and top and bottom. I think once I adjust to the weight Ill be ok with it, I dont want to break the screen again on this fragile beast, so I think it will be staying in this case not bad for a lunatik clone - here is a pic of how it goes together (with screws), photo shows the screen protector as a separate piece, its attached to the front and is claiming to be gorilla glass.
next up to try is the Spigen air cushion case
Really excellent case - daily driver right now. No wiggle at all, very solid/sturdy case. buttons are nice and mushy/responsive - no excessive pushing required. Very well built case! My favorite so far... Its almost identical to the Ringke, less the mag charger access and alot less flimsy (phone will actually move around in the Ringke case slightly).

I still wish Trident would get their a**es in gear and make a case for this phone. They did for the Z2, so I figured the Z3 would follow, but so far, nope.

The Deff microUSB to mag port adapter will probably work. You can find them on Amazon. I got a couple. Their only downside is that, if there is no case for them to poke through that adds some stability, the adapter can "wobble" off the mag port very easily. Poking through a case, though, should give it some support on the sides. The Magnector adapter handles the stability aspect much better, but is really shallow so that it's hard or impossible to use with cases. I filed mine down to work with my Bugdroid case. It's not as pretty now, but that's not the point, and if you just casually glanced, you wouldn't notice.

I have both the Tech21 and Cruizerlite Bugdroid...........I keep going back to the Bugdroid. I didn't think access to the magnetic charging port was a big deal, but, it is. I find myself using the magnetic charging port more and more. I just wish the Bugdroid case offered the same level of protection. UGhhh!

Can anyone suggest a case where the sides are flush with the screen? The Ringke Slim I had on my Nexus 4 was like that, let me easily swipe from any side of the screen for menus. (or for Action Launcher drawers)
It also had slight raised points at the corners to keep the glass off of a table. I had a Ringke Fusion and didn't like that it was thicker than the Slim. I don't remember if it also came up over the sides, and they don't make a Slim for the Z3. I would be willing to put up with a little thickness for easy side swipes. Thanks!

New to these forums. I like the tetded products. Just got my brown case on a copper z3. Looks sharp. Not very rugged, but looks good. Protection from scratches and minimal bulk. High quality products. I have ordered 3 cases from them (bb q10, bb passport and now my z3) and received within a week!

Just curious, I heard stories of the Ringke causing weird blobbing on the back of the phone. Does the same occur with the Spigen clear case?
I picked up the Sony smart view case today. Easy to install it's probably the least about of bulk of all the cases I've gotten.

I want a really good case but so far it's rare. You can't find a wide range of cases unlike the iPhone.
I just bought this case for my Z3 Dual Version but the cutout is for Single Version.

It's random which version of the case you will get. I got the wrong one Ringke case also.
