I'm not sure about the voltage, but if it helps, the battery is 2390mAh.

As for the charger, I read somewhere on boost mobile that stated it is 2.1A/5V.

That being said, that might not be true as Motorola states that the charger for a Motorola G is between 500mA and 1.5A and that the phone will automatically lower the voltage if it is too high. This might be the case with the Motorola E.

Can someone try using another charger? And please state the charging current.
The bundled charger is only 550mA, which is very low. The phone can probably accept more than 1A.
 
I'm using a Sony CP-ELSAB also pack includes a 2000 mAh spare battery. The charger has a 1A 5V output and charges my Moto E in only a few hours.
