what is the max size of MMS message that can be sent on the 10?

It depends on your carrier but is usually IRO 300kb.

It used to be 1 MB but now it is 600 KB or so. AT&T doesn't take kindly to big MMS pictures and such.

My m9 is 300 kB. Was hoping the 10 was higher. Didn't know the unlocked was affected by the carrier. The weird thing is my m7 would allow 1000kb on at&t.

This kind of stuff sucks. It's my data so I think I should have the option to change it to a higher amount if I need to.

Well in theory any phone is locked by carrier when it comes to MMS. You can use a 3rd party (like Textra) and manually set the limit but if it is too large the carrier will reject it and not allow it to go through.

That's weird. I use Textra with 1MB limit on AT&T, and it sends just fine!

That post is old so it may be somewhat inaccurate. I would say most people are fine with a 1 MB limit. If you go over you may run into issues.

I may have to try Textra. It's not that often I need to send something more than the 300kb but occasionally I do. And having to send an email is a pain. At least 1mb would work for me 95% of the time.

Agree with this. I paid to get rid of ads and all that .. so so so worth it.
