What is the orange and blue icon bar at top of screen?

Hello,

I hope someone can help as I can't work out what this icon is caused by. It loads centre screen and stays even when I play a video. This is very annoying when I want to chrome cast onto TV.

It is there in Kitkat and also when when I upgraded to Lollipop.

If I disable all Apps at startup it is not there but as soon as I start doing anything by clicking on and icon it appears. Very occasionally it will disappear for a minute or so. I guess that I have installed some kind of helper app that is fired up when I start another App



I'd love to hear any ways that I could find out what it is and get rid of it.

Do you have any ram booster app installed in your phone? If so you could try a couple of things. Check in the app settings for an overlay widget option and switch it off. Or you could consider disabling completely the app.
