What is the RCP components app and why is it listed as a separate app on my galaxy s6?

That explains that it's something for programmers. Can users disable it, or is it needed to run whatever those programmers come up with?

Good question--I'm not entirely sure. I've seen in other sites that RCP components can be safely disabled or removed: How to remove / disable bloatware apps on Galaxy Note 5 | AndroMods. Is there a Disable option in the App Manager? If not, you'd have to root the phone (or possibly use Package Disabler Pro).

Oh...I just double checked. "Disable" is greyed out. I thought it was an option (without root.) Nevermind.
