What is this 25% that is eating up my battery, it doesn't have words next to it.

Can someone please help me. What is this 25% that is eating up my battery, it doesn't have words next to it. How do I get ride of it or figure out what it is as it is chewing up my battery. I am having to charge my phone at least twice a day sometimes three times. Thankfully it only takes about 30-40 mins to charge.

This 25% thing has turned up since I put a new battery in as I was having to charge the phone at least twice a day before. Got a new battery, still the same so did a factory reset last night and now the battery is discharging even quicker bit now I have this weird 25% thingy. Screenshot is attached.

I don't know what that is, but I saw a similar post yesterday, but instead of 25% it was 44% . The OP did a factory reset, but after a couple of days the process returned so I wouldn't waste time doing that if I were you.

I suggest you install Malwarebytes and perform a full system scan and have a think about what apps you have recently installed.

I went into safe mode and did another screenshot and it dropped to 22%, its so weird. Like I said above, I installed a new battery, dis a factory reset because it is always recommend and it appeared. It wasn't there before that reset.

The icon says it is part of the OS. Not easily verified.
The rapidly dropping percentage suggests that the process used lots of power at startup, but is now using very little.

If you click on the icon, do you get details on the process?

When I click on the icons that all have percentages I get the same screen but with different figures. Here is an example. When I click on dex2oat I get the same details but again with different figures.

As soon as I start using the phone like apps or on this forum those percentages start climbing fast and my battery is dropping about 1% per minute. I have o lying just turned it on and straight away it is dropping like a rock. Fine before I did a factory reset, maybe I should do another.

Has your phone updated recently? E.g a security patch or similar.

No. I did another factory reset but no change so I took out the new battery and put in the old original one and the battery is lasting a lot longer so the battery is clearly a fake. It use to charge from 3% to 100% in about 40 mins. Now the old battery is back in the fast charge has gone back to approx 2 hrs. I think the battery was saying 100% but probably wasn't. Anyway I will try and buy a authentic battery, trouble is I can't find it on LG UK and LG US is out of stock (I will be Stateside in 6 weeks). . My phone is doing much better now. dex2oat has disappeared now the apps reinstalling have all been done and the %'s have all disappeared. Here is how it's doing now. Can't believe a new battery caused all that.
