flashing blue LED on galaxy s6 edge

i just got the galaxy s6 edge i noticed i keep getting the flashing blue LED light when my screen is off even though i am not received any text, emails or any notification on my phone. it just keeps flashing. how do i turn this off? I have gone into settings>sounds and notifications> led indicator and turned it off but it still flashes. Help!!!

I've had mine for about a week and a half and it's been doing the same. I started a FB chat session with Samsung Support: they had me restart in safe mode, turn off notifications, wipe the cache partition, and check for unlistened-to voicemails...all without success. It became clear they had no idea. They wanted me to backup and do a factory reset, but I wasn't willing to do that. Guess I'll just tolerate it for now.

If you happen to find the culprit or a solution, respond here as well.

Re: flashing blue LED on galaxy s6 edge

I just had this for a day and thought it was light flow...Facebook..etc...was driving me crazy. Finally it disappeared.

Don't know exactly...but I think...

Go to accessibility, notification reminder, and turned off led indicator.

It's just the NSA using your front facing camera to see what you're up to.

From the Samsung label at the top of the phone, swipe downward. "Edit | Gear Symbol " appear in the upper right of the screen. Tap the Gear symbol.

Gear -> Settings -> Device -> Sounds & Notifications -> LED indicator (bottom of screen) -> Tap, to turn this Off

So far, I still get notifications with sounds, and via all the other ways a phone with this many ways of notifying me, notifies me. But no blue light flashing anymore.
