In the middle of the suitcase in the top left icon but I did not buy anything I was browsing only on shein and boohoo and not sure why that icon showed unless it was for my app updates ? But I’ve only seen it twice and can’t seem to find it on my apps

Ahh yeah see it now , nothing in your notification panel ? Maybe thats Google pay

Welcome to Android Central! It's from Google Maps. That usually comes up from me when I've planned a trip and Google Maps figures it out from my Gmail.

If you swipe down the notification panel, do you see a notification for it there?

I don't use Google Travel itself that much, but I know that if you book a plane ticket or a hotel and get a confirmation email, Google can figure out that you have a trip coming up and will create a trip for you in Google Travel (also accessible in Google Maps under the Saved tab, in Reservations), where you can see a lot of pertinent information for your trip grouped together. It can be pretty handy.
