What is this icon tick icon , I have not downloaded anything have I been hacked ?

Will attach photo, the underlined tick is bothering me which now I can’t find I have not downloaded new apps

If you pull down your notification shade you should see what it's associated with.

I cleared all my notifications so couldn’t find out; but I think it’s because I was offline whilst trying to open something

That icon simply means that a file was downloaded from somewhere. Use your file manager app to look in the Downloads folder to see if there's anything new there. Or open Chrome (or whatever browser you use), tap Menu, then Downloads, and see if there are any recent downloads there.

It was google chrome , saved a photo but didn’t realise it comes under ‘downloads’, that’s what it was, thank you
