What is this tab?

This tab that looks like the side panel tab keeps coming up on the bottom of my phone. It messes with the area of the keyboard when typing. I've tapped it and swiped it yet it does nothing.

It looks like the gesture navigation hints are turned on.

Got to settings. Type navigation bar into search. Open navigation bar. Under swipe gestures you see an option for gesture hints. You can toggle it off

But would that be on if 3 button navigation is on as well?

Thanks for the input. It was samsung pay. I didn't have the app fully installed and couldn't change the settings.
