If you use the screen on for navigation for long periods of time can cause burn in
Looks more of a screen issue or calibration problem .Wanted to show you a picture. Does this look like burn in? I'm wondering considering it appeared all of a sudden and I don't have my screen on or high brightness for extended periods... plus the phone is only 6 months old. I was reading a thread about note 9 burn in and someone had this and was wondering about it being glue that keeps the screen together? Idk sounds out there.

Yeah definitely needs a replacement, your welcomeThanks. Probably good im getting a replacement. You can't see in the pic but there is definitely a grid pattern. Really odd. Everything else working fine on the phone

Yep def a greenish glow
Looks like the same issue I had. My first note9 I had use under warranty. Verizon put it down as burn in cause they didnt know what to call it. My replacement note9 had it too. Couldn't use warranty cause I dropped and shattered screen at work lol. So had to pay deductible and go thru asurion. They sent me another note9 next day. And this one has been awesome. No complaints so far. I never did find out what it was but I don't think it is burnin. Something behind the screen or something. Makes me wonder if the area where my note9 were shipped from were a bad batch maybe. Cause the original note9 at preorder came from fort worth Texas and so did replacement thru warranty. When I got replacement from asurion it came from somewhere in Tennessee. I don't know but that sure annoyed the hell out of me lol. Glad you getting a replacement.
It is annoying! It's really bright and distracting. Odd thing is it just literally appeared out of the blue... boom it was there. I'm glad I'm getting a replacement too although I'm ticked about it being refurbished. Hoping it's a good one and doesn't have that issue again. Maddening when you pay so much $ and they don't care to find out what's going on.
I definitely know how you feel lol. Yeah it took 6 months for my original note9 to show that issue. Took a week or so for my 2nd replacement to show that issue. Thank goodness so far no issues yet with my latest note9. Best of luck with your replacement.
Thanks! Hope my replacement fares better!!
Are you sure it isn't the screen protector causing it?
You did the right thing , warranty it , now your back enjoying your phone again.Nope it wasn't the screen protector. Took that off when I got the replacement as zagg wants it back for warranty. Screen still screwy. Thankfully replacement phone is fine!
