What is up with my brothers Data?

So his phone shows like .3GB or so, and Verizon shows 1.6GB. How can it differ that much?

Yes, and pretty sure, but may need to check again.

This was a problem for me when I first got the phone, but one of the first updates fixed it for me. Check for an update if he isn't already on version 21.44.12

Well I checked, and it was off. Looks like its fixed now!

Really? My Verizon / Android Data are pretty matched, and I'm on WiFi a lot. I don't think it counts Wifi usage..

Its totally up to data, it was the dates that were wrong.

Not really, sometimes though. He was complaining about his low data (2GB) while me and my mom have 4GB and 6GB respectfully, and was telling us how he was running out but was confused about the difference.

That is completely false, the phone doesn't count wifi.
