What is "used com.motorolacarriersext"?

On Activity log comes as "used"

Looks normal especially you see Motorola in the name , most likely system app or application.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you sure that's the exact name of that system app?

You read system file names backwards, so motorolacarriersext com. It's a Motorola system file having to do with extensions for various carriers.

I suggest people stop looking at android system files. No good ever comes of it. Unless you actually have a problem and someone who knows android inside and out asks you to go in there.

The problem is that these apps show up in a person's Google Activity log, and if people don't understand how that log works and what it means, it can cause unnecessary anxiety. But I totally agree -- it's not constructive to sift through all of the system apps, just like it's silly to go through the hundreds of thousands of system files on a Windows PC in search of something the user doesn't recognize (which would likely be 99.999999% of all the files, for the average user).
