What is your dream phone?

- 4.8-5", 1080p screen
- Good battery
- Wireless charging
- Decent volume/speakers (wtf is this so hard for Nexus?)
- 32 GB's
- Apple's I4 white (not sure why Samsung & Motorola's white are so much uglier?).

Doesn't seem like it should be that hard. Yet it is. Meh.

I would definitly go for this. These new phablet screens are kind of ridicilous in my opinion. I prefer max. 5". This and wireless charging are my major aspects. A lot of people argue that QI is just a gimmick, but it really increases comfort when you no longer have to plug in a usb charger all the time.

Dream phone? A Note 5 with Note series staples plus:
6" 4K display
flat sapphire screen
128GB storage
titanium frame
Kevlar back
Sabre32 DAC (for us audiophiles)
Good headphone amp (for us audiophiles)
Class-leading camera capable of great low-light shots
2-day+ battery

Fingers crossed that either the HTC M9 or Xperia Z4C might do the trick - sounds like they might if the rumors are true. Except for QI, but a good battery mitigates that some.

I prefer the phone that I can customize the specs like HP is offering for its laptop. I hoped Project Ara is about this but I was dissapointed.
Just being able to choose which Chip to use, how many RAMs, how big is the battery? It sounds awesome to me.
I hope motorola can spread out this trend since they allow customer to self-design their phone

My dream phone would be from Motorola, definitely. Their design for the Xs, Gs, and the E are just so nice, but I'd like to have it maybe just a tad larger than the 2013 X to accomodate for dual front facing speakers while keeping the size comfortable for one-handed use (I have small hands). The extra size would also allow for IR sensors on the 2014 X. 1080p is enough for me. Then I'd add a microSD card expansion, a better back camera (Lumia 1020 quality with all its features minus the bump... hey, this is dream phone), a wider aperture on the front camera for those friends and family selfies, a 3900 mah battery, and Nexus 6 specs but the new 64-bit Snapdragon chip (810 I think?) instead of the 805 used in the N6; not because I'd ever use this phone to its full potential, but because... uh... reasons :p Wireless charging included and rooting made as easy as it is for Dev Edition Moto X's. MotoMaker obviously included. Oh, and the screen would be protected not by Gorilla Glass but by DragonTail Glass (they used this for some Sony phones before), which last I heard was around the same quality? DragonTail just sounds so much cooler to me than Gorrila Glass, haha.

My small hands don't see the appeal in phablets, and the rest of my brain doesn't see the appeal in super thin phones. If Samsung ever does start marketing their foldable phones, well, I mean, it's a cool gimmick but personally, I like to be able to hold my electronics in my hand and know it's there. A bit of weight is fine, as long as it's not to the point where your arm is getting tired holding your phone.

I have to admit, though I didn't think it was possible, Samsung has created it with the galaxy s6 edge. For me, it's the perfect phone. Over the last couple years I have owned every flagship that has come out compatible with AT&T. I have ended up trading every single one of them back for one reason or another. I have finally found one that I think I will keep for awhile. In regards to the material world, phones are kind of like cars. We become emotionally attached to them. Every day we are beginning to use our phones for more and more every day tasks. I personally use my phone for literally everything. It is the single most important material possession in my life. That's why it's so important I have the perfect one.... For me. The s6 edge has it all. Top of the line specs and a cutting edge design. An octa core processor and a 2k screen that curves at both edges. Simply put.. You can't get a better phone. My dream was to find a phone that I didn't deam necessary to trade back in for one reason or another. I have found that phone.

Being able to build my own phone with the features I want. Moto x has a good thing going they just need to take it a step further

Moto X 2014

An HTC One Max 2 with Dolby-fied M9-style Boomsounds, a 5.9" screen with LG's new IPS screen tech or adjustable/responsive backlighting to keep the display visible in bright sunlight, the M9's ultrapixel front shooter, and an M8-style duo back shooter with OIS and F 1.8 aperture (again, like LG's yet-to-debut camera) running Android 5.1. Wireless charging and some Note 4-style phablet functionality would be nice, too, if only as an option. But I can do without a stylus.

In my opinion the dream phone is about puzzle phone. When you can modify / upgrade your prefer component, like camera or memory. The Google called this ideas as Project Ara. I'm looking forward this new feature phone.

@Alec Mountain buy the Sony xperia z3 that's your dream phone
