What is your favorite Remote Desktop App???

Personally I prefer teamviewer as I just find the initial setup so straight forward.
Works well with even a really slow wifi or 3g on a phone.

I have used GOTOMYPC for a long time using tablet, laptop or other PC. Just like sitting at my desktop.

I just installed and tested Remotedroid on jelly bean. Its working flawlessly. Earlier it used to fail on ICS... strange but true. Dwnld from google play store

I use Splashtop and on testing it works fine in my house. I live in the UK and work in China. I cant get it to connect from China. I don't know what the problem is. It could be a blocking thing or the distance and all the connections.
Has anybody else tried from another country

I am a fan of Unified Remote for using my android as a WiFi mouse/keyboard combo. Tons of features, very lightweight server, and highly configurable with the paid version(under $5) but still highly useful with the free version.

I have used pocketcloud for RDP and it works well enough, though I don't have much need and haven't used anything lately. I think pocket cloud won't go full screen or scale nice unless you get the paid version. I never bothered with the paid version to get that and multiple connections.

I use the paid version of Pocketcloud and am satisfied. The only gotcha is if you let a connection time out rather than logging out, my Xoom will not find the remote computer again unless I reboot the Xoom.

I prefer TeamViewer. I've used it for a few years and the PC version is free as well. I use it frequently to help out friends that need minor fixes on their computers.

I don't have an N7, but i use Splashtop on my GS3 and tf101.

I run a media server/htpc in the basement and i don't even need to worry about a monitor.

Plus, when on travel out of town for business, I can still watch the local 10 o'clock news before going to sleep. Just plug the GS3 into the hotel tv, access the htpc with Splashtop and dvr the night's news.

I use 2x Client on my S3 phone. I don't know if it is available on Nexus Tab. If it is, I can recommend it.

+1 for 2x, it works well on my JB AOSP Lenovo K1 tablet. I also use VMWare's View Client to connect to my works VDI farm.

Remote Desktop by Xtralogic is absolutely the way to go. It works wonderfully on both my N7 and GN. I don't like that Splash top requires their software to be installed on your PC. I much prefer pure RDP, and Xtralogic has the best app IMO.

I like Jump Desktop, I use it all the time for my PC at work. It's very intuitive in terms of navigation.

I like to use unified remote, it has a ton of features even though you can't see the screen of the computer.

I've also used splashtop 2 and its pretty good. It has a little lag for me though, and its free at first, then they charge you monthly or something. I uninstalled it after finding out that info..

I use real VNC it is a little more setup on the home end but well worth it. It is fast and works well. I also use logmein ignition for my work computer which also works pretty well just not as fast as real VNC.

I've remoted-in (I think I just made that term up) from Ecuador to Portland, OR. Worked fine. You may have run into the Great Firewall of China if it's not allowing you access.
